Who We Are
StreamOhio is a team of local Audio-Visual Professionals who provide multimedia production services to local governments, namely live streaming content for Council Meetings as well as providing live sound for an enhanced audio experience for the general public.
We got our start live streaming local governments from home when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down pretty much all local government non-emergency services. Initially this also included access to Village and Township Halls, where meetings would normally take place. To help keep public business pubically accessible as is required by law StreamOhio.live started offering video feed capture and broadcasting services to Youtube. What started out as simple audio evolved quickly into a useful service broadcasting Google Meet , Zoom, and Teams Calls to Youtube and Facebook.
After restrictions starting being eased the need for in-person live sound was needed to help with the expanded layouts of the public meeting halls used by our clients. In some cases hybrid online and in-person meetings were required to allow local officials in quarantine to continue in local governance. What started off as a good idea quickly evolved into a dependable way of allowing local government to continue operations even while working from remote locations.
The Virus Wrapped but We Didn’t
Thanks to positive reception from the general public once the pandemic was declared over and things were allowed to return to a pre-COVID 19 normal, a desire to continue providing publicly accessible live streams online to local citizens kept StreamOhio.live active even once meetings returned to entirely in-person.
StreamOhio.live has made a significant investment into a live streaming sound system that we built from the ground up using an intuitive blend of equipment that allows us to provide a higher quality experience than the client expected. It’s reliable, quickly repairable, and unlikely to fail when the success of your meeting depends on the AV system remaining behind the scenes and not a focal point.

We’ve trained multiple staff members how to setup, operate, and tear down which allows us the ability to provide our clients with a reliable and robust sound experience tended to by professional audio and video engineers that can be depended upon month after month. Our staff has safe guards and extra part time team members available to cover any potential shift overlap.
Leaving government officials free to focus on the business of the evening rather than being interrupted by cumbersome computer equipment is our #1 priority.
